I feel like this is the real difference in being an "artist" if I gave you this lineart, anyone can color it. But its taken me since 2012 to be able to turn it around into what doesn't even look like the same piece anymore.

I only refined the sketch, and I kinda like it. I’m more likely to make a background that way (because I didn’t take time to make the lineart, so I still have some motivation afterward) :D

like many artists i have too many different ones so i tried to stay cohesive for the references.
i will give some easy tips though- black line lineart, often no "soft/gradient" shade only one hard color, "loose" hair, 1:8 body ratio with long limbs and legs 😅also ~lips~
