as a human, that being human is "natural".. The metaphor isn't subtle, a father forcing his son to "wait" and preventing him from looking at the pov of other individuals like him.
But the best one here is of course Kate, who knows what's best for him and yet she wants

A 3rd bday for this illustration, made for a BuzzFeed India article guiding tourists on how not to be a dick when visiting Goa, but which works just as well as a visual metaphor for all sorts happening currently, so please feel free to apply it to your favourite current shitshow.

Hi! I'm fey and I wanna be a self-employed artist one day.

I have a Webtoon comic called CROWS CULLING, it's a fantasy/action one, full of metaphors and symbolisms! Also a ton of details if you read between the lines (or panels)

I also have a Patreon!

I summarise my favourite bits from:
💬'Talking About Poverty' (like this fantastic visual metaphor)
💬'Evidence-based narrative about Migration' (dissecting the populist story of migration)
💬'Communicating Global Justice & Solidarity' (why a Robin is actually a framing 'trap')

This work is a metaphor representing our society in Zambia today; how we masquerade as a Christian and upright nation, and yet immorality is the order of the day. The mask that we have been wearing is quickly crumbling at the seams, to reveal the dirt that happens on the ground-

One thing I love about watercolors is this bloodstained battlefield of creativity that is always left behind.
Each painting it changes. Sometimes it needs to be cleansed, and other times past colors mixed up are useful.

Art is as deep & metaphorical as you want it to be.

Very big shoutout to our visual artist who helped put together what will be the long-running concept to Electric Hawk from our label debut, "The Hand and Feather", a metaphor to the music and artists (feathers) being in our hands. Please go follow and check him out 💜

Cell phones on, empty pictures on the walls, you try your best to say "I'm fine" but inside you're screaming "save me".

In my opinion, this Tae scene has one the best BTS metaphors.

People always say: "You don't f*ck with the overlord of hell", both metaphorically and literally.
(Or "that is how Bonbon was born" 😂 )

Tracy Ellyn creates innovative art that emphasizes metaphor, storytelling and inquiry. Her illuminating works of art are crated by using multiple layers of both traditional and contemporary creative processes. https://t.co/F4Eaxh8Zd2

It's hard to translate the metaphorical beauty of an all female-identifying crew removing a fence and replacing it with one that allows safe passage of wildlife into words or a picture.
