They can talk by just moving their mouths also, but it's good to have several options.

I start by blocking out the major forms in ZBrush. Then I refine the shapes until I have my finished body. I retopologise the sculpt in blender. I block out the clothes around the low poly body in blender and then bring them into ZBrush to flesh them out.
