(19) El Greco was a cosmopolitan artist whose birth in Greece gave him Byzantine roots, his training in Rome & Venice allowed a mannerist approach & finally his life in Spain gave him a mystical perspective. His style was unique. My favourite work of his is The Laocoön (1610-14)

i'm liking JoJo part 5 so far, but one criticism I have for JoJo in general is that characters often talk with the exact same mannerisms as each other, aka they all spout extremely detailed explanations and worldly knowledge. i wonder if it just works better in Japanese

Inspiration: Alessandro Vittoria (1525–1608) - an Italian sculptor. He was very prolific so definitely check out more of his work. I like the elongated figures so characteristic of mannerism.

Chisato

👑 She is realistic and level-headed. Sometimes she seems harsh, but in reality, she knows the work required to succeed
👑 SHE IS SUCH A SAVAGE but she burns people so politely. It's hilarious
👑 She is refined in her mannerisms and speech. Actual princess Chisato

I appear to be shifting toward a Mannerist sensibility with my new images. Image One, a chalk drawing by lead supervisor Francesco Primaticcio is a study for a painted ceiling at Fontainebleau.. Image Two is one of mine.
