In Sargent's portrait he used thick layers of pigment in the face and hands. In Tyng’s, a more liquid paint allowed him to delineate details more precisely.

I went and did a quick overlay of the images listed.

All are near 1:1 traces with a few body parts shifted about or resized.

Optimus is...almost identical in pose, the only things on him that match up precisely to the original images are his fists.
