At 36 I've begun working @hastings_museum. In this display is Williamsonia carruthersii, a cycad found at Fairlight by Philip J Rufford who coincidently retired to Hastings at age 36. There's also his sketch of the type specimen he sent to @NHM_London next to it. #FossilFriday

This is a WWII era Beehive Mine. It was used by the Japanese Army but I believe it is of Chinese origin. A captured mine reissued by the Japanese. These were recovered on Okinawa. I am looking for a deactivated specimen for sale. It must be empty and FFE. Message me. Thanks.
