Explored some new techniques for the hair system in #cinema4d. Used some dynamics to get more realistic strand randomization instead of having to do it manually.
Been cautiously optimistic on the new details following #SonicFrontiers. I definitely love the art direction and stranded island setting the most so far, so I drew something with that sick raining effect.

@StubblesMcGee Don't try to draw it hair by hair, try drawing it in big strands, and then if you need to, add a thinner line for detail here and there. Also keep it nice and glossy for appeal.

As for island survival games then & now, it's been better.
We might never see a new Survival Kids or Lost in Blue, given Konami's business priorities. Anime-themed survival games aside, I've heard mixed things about Western efforts like Stranded Deep too. The genre seems cursed.
