Monster is packed with character who appears for at most one or two episodes. These character doesn’t only play a huge part with bringing the story forward, but they always have very defined and beautiful stories that expands on the entire theme of the show.

I've been leaning towards having a more defined character as the player instead of a blank canvas like in my first 3 games.

I tend to just drop transparency until the shading/colouring below has somewhat taken form on its own and then go in without lines and tighten up edges so parts of the face/body/whatever look more defined by shadows etc. Example here (even though I kept the lines in the end XD)

Thank you! Consider this close up: it has a lot of erratic lines and stray pixels, lots of noise makes it "untidy". On the other hand, the second image was made by me this year, it has defined shapes and volumes, no stray pixels or scattered lines. It looks more polished.
