Ever pondered the meaning of Fritillaria?
The name was inspired by the checkered petals of Fritillaria meleagris, the commonest species, and derives from the Latin ‘fritillus’, a checkered dice-box.
1.) Whilst I didn't start conceptualising Toil and Trouble until 2015, Josie derives from a drawing I did a year before. Sadly the original image has been lost to time, but here are some doodles from around 2015-16 which resemble the initial design. (current version on the right)
This furtive little creature is Nodontoraptor australis, a descendant of derived #Troodontids. Dwelling in the subtropical open forests of Late Eocene Texas, Nodontoraptor was named for one surprising anatomical feature: a completely toothless beak! #dinosaurs #speczoo
Since twitter tends to lend equal emphasis to tweets that took 5 minutes and artwork that took 5 days, here’s a tweet of some recent work I’m proud of!

We still use many words derived from Norse to this day, including; 'ransack' which comes from the old norse 'rannsaka', meaning to search a house, and 'slaughter' from 'slatra' - the Norse verb for butchery. Join us for #VikingLegend: https://t.co/hMAvKblcgR #ThorsdayFact

Happy #PiDay trainers! To derive this important mathematical constant, simply measure the circumference of a Voltorb and divide it by the diameter of that Voltorb.

Okay so, the clown OC I talked about but she's a Pokemon gym leader who defies most psychic trainer tropes who require clarity of mind and instead derives her power from joy.
A fractal heart I made for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. Was quite difficult! But I found a secret - tanh or any similar mobius derived curly final transform with mirror_x on post. Basically make the texture, make a left (or right) curve and mirror to the other side. Chaotica
@damjanmx @entagma @thecgwiki @sidefx Thanks. I’ve made an asset that puts paint strokes onto curves. It controls things like width, bristles and smearing. It can also run in a loop over curves derived from a photo. I’d like to do a tut, but I want to get it looking a bit better first.
