For #FossilFriday, here's #paleoart of uberfamous pterosaur Pteranodon on a rock. The depicted species is Pteranodon longiceps under the generally accepted scheme of Pteranodon nomenclature, but others would class this as Pteranodon sp. 1/n

Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! Mascot:

Finally finished this #paleoart of Rhamphorhynchus mobbing behaviour - three big adults chase a juvenile for its fish prey. The scene is a complete reworking of the opening image from my 2013 book 'Pterosaurs'. There are lots of other images in that book I'd like to redo.
The BBC has just written a whole article about the giant pterosaur Arambourgiania, inspired by my blog post from a few years back: "The winged giant that was bigger than T. Rex" https://t.co/qsyINteWiU. Features comments and #paleoart from me, and additional input from @aeroevo.
Eye's to the skies! Here's a swoopy #cartoon #pterodactyl - loving his doofy expression! More to see here: https://t.co/f8Wn5r0mPA #dinosaur #digitalart #kidlitart #JurassicPark #JurassicWorld

Had a great time chatting with @Dave_Hone yesterday who kindly offered to make some very much appreciated comments and suggestions on my reconstructions of #pterosaurs We had a really interesting conversation! #paleoart #sciart #FossilFriday

A male Pterosaur (unspecified species) using its teeth to filter feed, eating plankton and shrimp. It uses the bioluminescence from the shrimp to colour its neck pouch a bright glowing green, which he uses to impress females with at night.

Pterodaustro was a flying dinosaur from the Cretaceous of South America. It had a bizarre set of teeth, similar to some whales, which was used to catch small organisms from the sea.
WIP. The morning after a bad storm in the coast of Cuba during the Late Jurassic (Oxfordian). A dead Gallardosaurus has been washed up shore. Several Cacibupteyx and Nesodactylus, although normally piscivorous, are checking it out #PterosaurPtuesday #paleoart #SciArt
Finished a ref for a pterosaur griffin creature I've had stuck in my head for a while.
The heads of several extinct pterodactyloids.
