It seems like the code for Darkwing Duck's sound test doesn't work. Anyone knows something about this? I'm thinking this code doesn't actually exist. In theory: Press A + B + Down + Start at the title screen. Nope, nothing happens.

Unfortunately however, by widening the playfield from 256 to 320 pixels without modifying the proportions of the artwork, the Genesis version just looks flat out wrong when aspect ratio corrected for a 4:3 screen. Funnily it would've looked much better the low resolution mode!

The creation process for me always starts out with a basic outline of what I want to draw. I create my artwork on Photoshop whilst using a Wacom Tablet to draw my images directly onto the screen. I also use different layers to build my images.

Another attempt at a screenshot redraw. This time the linework was also done in photoshop so it's a bit wobblier. But making progress, I think. Hand/eye coordination is getting a lil more used to the tablet now tho' I would still prefer a tablet with a screen. :)

Legitimately a strategy I use to help with stress.
I just try and imagine a 3D model of my favourite monster in as much detail as possible. And then I run through his animations like on a debug test screen.
Sometimes it's hard to cheer up, so a distraction works better!

What really bothered me was when the Coredramons surrounded the kids and their Digimon. Greymon and Taichi were ready to beat them but we didn't saw it, it was solved off screen.
