Along with values - the whole range of tints and tones - contrast is very important. This is about how the values are arranged in the image - areas of high contrast (very dark + very light) draw the eye, areas of low contrast (similar values) are restful

Well Spiderman 1 is just as great as I remember it being, loved the early 2000’s feel, and story telling of Spider-Man’s origin. Willem’s Green Goblin is amazing and despite a few areas that date it, it’s aged pretty well

Helps to separate areas of a figure when your going into color, give each a silhouette that you can easily fill in later to keep a world view. Ain't no body said your silhouettes had to be just greyscale😉😆
