It's day four & today's Advent Calendar sees Illustrator Alex drawing presents as he's flown away in Santa's sleigh. Turning information into powerful metaphors feels like we're wrapping it up. It's one of the reasons we love what we do

needs a new home 🙂 approx 170 x 165cm

‘After the party’ plays on the idea of the remains of a dinner party but also, what happens ‘after the party’ or ‘an event’... who ‘survives’, who’s still standing.

A comic I finished for a class at school, happy with how it came out and would love to hear feed back. The theme was mortality so I drew the metaphorical death of a friendship, gory stuff aint my deal

A rough concept of Ahsoka Tano having a vision of her former master, being consumed by the Dark Side even as he struggles for, and finally achieves, freedom from it.
Ultimately this concept was deemed too metaphorical, even as a vision. But I like it, and I though you might too.

Sometimes it's not a metaphor. Use your words, Aziraphale.

You can't just tease me with plant metaphors and expect me not to respond...
