One really good piece of representation for people with adhd is a webtoon I read recently called peach and her papas. It not only accurately represents adhd it also tackles ptsd, eating disorders, panic attacks, social pressure, and post postpartum depression.

I'm not saying that Wilbert ever deliberately chose for Bertie, Terence and Harold to be scrapped, but I think his lack of acknowledgement toward them as time went on shows that he never really considered them 'permanent' in the same way that the steam engines are.
