We did it! I ended 2019 in a bit of an art slump, but looking back I did a lot of fun stuff this year, I hope I get to table at more cons, take some more commissions and do lots of indulgent merch in 2020. Thanks for sticking around 💘

This one was especially challenging because I couldn't find enough reference & I got an art slump. (Don't like the outcome...) Initially I tried new technique (of painting right above the lineart, all in one layer), but it didn't turn out well so I just reworked. (Scrapped ver.)

I definitely fell into a slump earlier this year where I wasn't happy with my art and felt like I wasn't improving, but this made me realize that I've actually come a long way - from the start of the decade /and/ the start of this year!
