That might actually be my paint choices. Over half of my palette consists of granulated colors with many having minerals for pigment (her hair being garnet for example). Still, paper makes the difference. The dark red here is also garnet. This paper is also cotton.

I have joined a by ariimaw on instagram.
I did a version with no texture (first pic) then one with a slight texture (second pic) although I'm not sure you can tell the difference. This took so long to finish and I'm not even sure if I'm proud of it.
