I'll be trying something new and using commissio, which is a commission based website and all details are listed there !
And ofc, here are some samples of my non-sonic work. My sketches will just have the gradient look of the sketches in the main tweet.
rare unfiltered, unshaded lmao
but yeah - another cheese move for backgrounds is gradients for sure lmao like for fight scenes. Airbrush them isn't too much of a chore

@klimtsonian thank uuu noodling around w gradient maps on these is always v fun…
A fairly transparent gradient is chucked on top. Depending on the colours chosen it can lend itself to a bright colourful summers day or the midst of a cold winter.
A small chance of a grey filter and also for inverted colours which give us the night time outputs.

@Mobianologist NOT HER AS A TODDLER REF AND THIS IS VERY MESSY AND I JUST THREW IT TOGETHER IN AN HOUR, BUT HERE SHE IS. All her underquills point up like Shadow's hair and have a red to pink gradient! So she usually wears her hair up, but if she doesn't they poke out between the longer quills!
Been putting gradients n other effects on Nickelodeon logos to try to, like, renew them or someth because it makes me happy I love gradients :)
I realized I've never used the blur tool for blending so I tried and it's actually good for blending. Then I also tried using gradient maps to color but it didn't turned out like I wanted so I ended up using overlay to add different hues to specific areas.

GM! Discovered a more flexible way to shade rounded forms - bit trickier but half the current drawing involved. Nothing wrong with the colour gradient tool - for me it has become the sharpened rock in the operating theatre now (I'm such a vector snob😂).
Like snake demon guy with pointed ears, scales, and a green gradient in his hair? Yes please
Alright. Thanks to this fades will never exist in my fantasy universe.
They weren't going to exist anyway, I just have more motivation to not use them.
The only "fade" to exist is going to be for color gradients on coats and LONG HAIR. https://t.co/H9WJ04RKgr
