Aang is a great protag, I didn't really like him in the middle of Book 2 but he fucking took in Book 3

Katara wasn't that good at the beginning but she grew on me in Book 3, she's awesome

Sokka is just great, I loved seeing his growth and he stayed funny which is a plus
