In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Ledyba and Ledian weren't linked by evolution data. It seems they were originally rivals -- but later, were revised into relatives.

Created a small faerie for Kinktober last year, wasn't much more than a little elf with wings. Revised her a little bit, made her more insectoid so she stands out more!
(also yes, the two pairs of wings are meant to be apart this far)

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Sneasel was originally pure Dark-type and looked much more like a weasel. But his design was later revised, and he was changed to half Ice-type.

In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Quagsire was originally an unevolved pure Water-type. But Quagsire ended up getting revised to Water/Ground, and given Wooper as a pre-evolution.

Found a bunch of older sketches that I think I still like! You know what that means: Time to dump!
First, a biomechanical character called Watcher who seems to get slightly revised everytime I touch them. A side character, but brings a lot to the worldbuilding side of things.
@march1studios I've never made a Homebrew class/subclass before, but for Barbarians: Path of the Lumberjack?
- Extra damage against plants/wooden structures
- Gain Forest as a Favored Terrain (Revised Ranger)
- Some kind of bonus to Axes?
