I've often thought about employing this voodoo skull trinket for such things. Detaching the little bauble, making the empty eyelids emit a capivating light and just swinging it back and forth to entrace a target.

The Lancelot is such a sick mecha design. I'm very biased towards Akiman drafts & designs, but still. It brings a lot of individuality to the show (and emphasizes Suzaku's role as a knight, à la Sir Lancelot), and I love the way it maneuvers in battle.
