is the best hands down. Has the best story, characters, artstyle, and music. It ended up being a beautiful kiss goodbye to the spritework era of Pokemon that the 3D era hasn't managed to capture the spirit of yet. Gen 8 is the best since then but Gen 5 is still magnum opus
