Butch Hartman is trending for tracing his commissions he charges hundreds for... so this seems like a good opportunity to say that my commissions are also open. My artwork is better than his and I don't trace...

While my art might not be the best, at least I don't trace. If I wanna become a better artist, I should only use tracing for study purposes (like breakdowns) and not as a way to scam viewers.

Bruh. Each piece takes a minimum of two hours for the sketch...

Tracing is icky, J/S. I have pose references, but I don’t copy. (I have time lapses to prove how I struggle with eyeballs and hands) proportions are hard. 🥴

Am I gonna post my art under a Hartman tweet despite being late to everyone clowning on him? Yes, yes I am. I draw a whole lotta stupid Nintendo stuff, no tracing included.

ok none of these are $200 commissions, like around $35 to $40. if it costs much to make commission art for someone, at least make it look like it WITHOUT tracing, because that wasn't it chief

I also wanna join this bandwagon. Hi I'm Lancer, a trans man who doesn't trace other people's art 😳
Say yes to referencing, no to tracing

Exemple :

I know: my character doesn’t respect the proportions of the original, I can see it too..And I nevertheless managed to draw the foot the wrong side ! ( I corrected it on the picture I posted though). I am the agent 00 of the tracing/ copying/referencing 😆😋
