The cover of BLOOD DEBTS does indeed give historical vibes, but this story is not historical, it’s a contemporary fantasy set in NOLA in the summer of 2019. The outfits Clem and Cris are wearing on the cover reference the climax scene, where they’re dressed up for ✨reasons✨.
