I really like the Chad and Hugh support in Fe6. You get most of Chad’s backstory there. Chad and Hugh felt like brothers to me, they had the “immature older brother and responsible younger brother” dynamic. It was fun seeing them interact, Hugh being happy and carefree (1/3)

I feel like Discord's reforming arc is a great example that you don't need to give your villains the most generic sad backstory for them to have a redemption arc that works. Sometimes you have to foquest on how your characters feel about the current situation and not past ones
