I really do love how, in contrast to retellings/adaptations where Dick enters Batman's gravity by way of Bruce adopting him or giving him a home, the very first Robin story literally has Batman kidnap the kid on basis of "ACAB" barely a minute after the kid's parents are dead.

One of the most disturbing characters in Batman's gallery (cant believe there's a lego figure of him). Think Zsasz turned out ok.

Batman's Great-Great Grandfather — and this is canon, mind — is JUDGE SOLOMON E. WAYNE, who clobbers scofflaws with his giant bible and law book like a dang YAKUZA: LIKE A DRAGON character https://t.co/sugBBckcnS

It's a little annoying that the Batgirl movie most likely won't be set on the Reevesrverse, because she's the easiest of Batman's partners to translate to a darker setting.

The most common critiques about Robin is A) he's a child and B) he's Bruce's son, and Barbara is neither.

Batman's Villains are so terrifying, yet so cool to draw.

I bought the comics and now the bundles are a lot cheaper! I will open comissions for the bundles to see if I can save some vbucks! I will do a half-body for Batman's bundle // 1 full body and 1 half-body for Catwoman's bundle!

Want to feel old?

It's as far this year from Starfire's debut in 1980 as it was then from Batman's in 1939...

I'm off to have a sit down and a cup of Horlicks...

Even though there have been many antagonists that are on a bigger scale that hurts Mark both on a mental and physical level, I'd argue that Conquest was Mark's specific Nemesis, the equivalent to Batman's Bane.

Batman's Predator fighting suit was pretty cool!

it is now canonically one of batman's techniques to calm people down by saying the word "ducktales". bruce wayne is in the right age range to be a kid in the late 80s/early 90s. patiently awaiting one of batman's cases to involve reboot or garfield and friends or something https://t.co/uqvyM9jygC

Despite claiming to be a loner, I'm pretty sure has the longest length of service on the most iterations of the Is there a team Batman's not a member of?!

(And yes, I'm aware the Bat family is already evidence Bruce is really just a big softy at heart.)

8) A comic mini approaches!
Three Jokers - Some big lows, but higher highs than expected. A great focus on the Joker and his victims, however the actual concept of, well...3 Jokers...was pretty lacking. Batman's end moments were strong, but I'm glad it's a standalone. 7.5/10

All of Batman's costumes look essentially the same to me so I'm not that fussed over it, BUT... I did realize at some point that what I think of as the default Batman costume is still Neal Adams. So probably that one, but modernized by making the cape black (maybe with https://t.co/sdBZ0myaD0

Really looking forward to the Selina & Shoes relationship. having a supporting character with their own interesting backstory. Batman's been given like hundreds of them over the years. I want Catwoman's mythology to expand more, to connect her to more DC characters. https://t.co/4ObVJN8Fhu
