Throwback to 2007 when I drew every character anime-like, gave Falco a rat tail and struggled to draw beaks. I'm happy I grew from this but at the same time I cringe everytime I open the folder with all 300 of my old artwork.

They knew about the beaks. The reason they were given lips (on top of the beak) is because producers found it easier to animate. Not sure why since we have always had animated birds. Maybe issues with early CG? Here is some concept art from the film w/ beaks.

It's called Chitoppa! They use teamwork to hunt great fish. Together they take on fish with speed and sharp beaks. The Chitoppa colony motivate eachother, never letting bad luck ruin their day.

I always did find the Ritos an interesting race in the Zelda franchise. Originally in wind waker, to me they looked like humans with bird beaks, but in BOTW they did a complete redesign and i love em! Time to jump into a late bandwagon XD
