- meanderings...interested currently in the "CLIP RGB Optimization" script in - not least because it allows 2Kx2K images - albeit having bayer-type dithering. This 1 had sharpening and F-S dithering applied just because.

Making a new color palette is as simple as just creating an image with the desired colors in it and the game will adapt its visuals around them.

I finally figured out how to increase the size of pixel art without the annoying blur or dithering!!

agggh realized i was blurring & redithering a bitmap with a dither pattern already on it which was stupid

found the old files and just added some gradients to the original color-labeled shading image and can dynamically dither the image

should've shaded this ages ago tbh hhhhhh

-set up palette
-trace the major, then the buildings one by one (this)
-go back over each element doing cleanups and dithering
