I really love Gigantamax designs. A lot of them are just so creative and entertaining to look at. I can’t in good faith see the gimmick as lazy because the designs go really hard.

My current ranking of #Pokemon gimmicks since X and Y. I know #PokemonScarletViolet isn't out yet, but the Terastal Phenomenon reminds me a lot of Mega Evolution, which already makes it better than Z-Moves and Dynamax/Gigantamax.

- I REALLY don't like the terastal mechanic. It just looks like the dollar-store version of other transformations we've already had in the past like Mega evolutions or Dyna/Gigantamax pokémons.

11. So again don't really have a strong opinion since haven't played the game yet (and ngl Gigantamax as a concept is meh to me, but hopefully that'll change once I play the game). BUT - I think Gigantamax Butterfree looks really sweet.
