I don’t think it’s been talked enough about how DC split Hawkgirl into two separate characters and what a great idea that was.

Now we have Hawkwoman (Shayera) who is intrinsically tied to Hawkman, and Hawkgirl (Kendra) who is their own character separate from Hawkman.
