I use the soft brush and round brush interchangeably most of the time. I prefer painting eyes without an outline around them so i make the iris with the soft brush and use both to give the irises a softer look. I use the round brush for a wider variety of things though

Eris' first design to current design! Originally I thought the ancients were gray-skinned & white-haired & didn't have defined ears/nose/mouth/brows, just glowing eyes without irises/pupils, which you can kinda see in the first one, hehe.

I’d coloured the goblin eyes to be yellow irises but it looks more like yellow sclera and no iris but with the blue it just looks like huge irises which I’m not really into so need to rethink the eyes at least. 🙂

Honestly I was never a fan of those extremely elongated eyes, it makes him look uncanny and not as expressive

With rounder irises, he can move his eyes around more and it makes him look more lively. I always felt like Sonic was never looking at the camera in Uekawa’s old art.

I'm assuming Kagami worked on this episode due to it being a pretty big one, but I also noticed Jonouchi's eyes are actually more how Takahashi draws em with the white irises, compared to other episodes so far. Huh.
