Aunque actualmente no se especifica cómo consigue la suya Jango Fett, y aunque el nombre Slave-I estaba presente en los juguetes de 1981, la explicación (que, insisto, aún no se ha puesto en duda ni contradicho) viene de Legends, del videojuego de 2002 Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.
