He's been through a lot. He's had to grow so much in such a short amount of time.

Since the events of the last arc (including merging with Yubel), Judai's definitely showing a more subdued fire and a bit of a jaded side. It's still him, but you can tell he's grown up and grown weary of hijinks at last.
