This is absolutely a fact. I think it's because they decided to experiment with the designs a lot more than the other games. There seems to be a formula for the classic robots and Mavericks, so for the most part they all look somewhat alike, but in MMBN anything's on the table

MegaMan Battle Network 4 is considered one of the worst games in the series but it had a ton of potential. I really wish they would have had a more similar story to the anime where Duo is more prominent and included Slur and Trill.

November 12th, 10 years ago was when Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star was released!

The last “new” Battle Network game was an enhanced version of MMBN1 featuring Mega Man SF. It’s biggest feature was the stellar Rockman Star Colosseum minigame, where up to 8 players can play.

Keo was a character I made when my friend got me addicted to MMBN (unfortunately 4 was the only game I played). I was super into the concept of net navis and even sanded down an old Pokedex toy into a P.E.T. Keo was heavily based on Aquaman.exe IIRC
