While those ‘special people’ were smashing shit up last night I drew this panel illustration from my current book work - “The Devil of Bleaktop” - a coal dust covered ogre grumpily waking up from his nightshift down the pit.

Kind of how I felt waking up this morning.

Apologies for almost going into radio silence on here, I've been doing a ton of odd hours in my new job. Currently on day one of four on nightshift, had been dreading it slightly but I'm nearly two thirds of the way through & its went smoothly. I'm still awake which is great 😂

also i love how they can make me blush after knowing each other so long uwu <3 i do miss my puppy during their nightshift but having them call during their break makes it so much easier!
