Some strips of my comic serial, A Man Of Leisure. In mid-2019, after being kept up for three days straight without sleep from a sickness, I had the idea that I would write a fever dream comic strip that I would submit to local newspapers as a surrealist gag.

This is so cute and of it’s time ‘The Kings Daughters in a Basket by Charles Folkard (1878-1963) from British Folk Tales 1920s. Firstly this illustrator was a conjurer who went on to create ‘Teddy Tail’ a popular cartoon character who ran in the Daily Mail newspapers for decades

October 2, 1950: The very first "Peanuts" comic strip hits newspapers!

While Charlie Brown and Snoopy would go on to become quintessential comic classics, I don't think this premiere strip would have endeared to me!

Sun Child first appeared as a side character in a comic serial called "A Man Of Leisure". The comic was made as a surrealist joke, with the idea being that I would submit the comic (which featured morbid existential comedy) to local newspapers as a pitch for a Sunday strip.
