The animation was drawn on Cels with fountain pens. Later photocopying (xeroxing) became a cost-cutting method.
Finally, markers were used for contouring which is more common and easy to use than fountain pens.
Now when it's digital it's mostly art style.

Today I decided to test drawing with a larger brush. Usually the contours of my works are quite thin, but I wanted to loosen my hand after playing osu.

It was just an exercise, but it turned out even decent so I'll share it with you.
