couple c! ref updates, half bc my old skep one was uhhh 😬 very light (and also cool toned, yikes) and half because every time i draw bad i crank up the saturation a little more and he wasn't even gray anymore WHEEZE

@ArtGamerGeek hey! I appreciate your vigilance on this, but I think the saturation and other shading might be warping your perception because he's definitely not light! I do need to rework the colors on my c!skep design in the future (hair less saturated, skin undertones mostly)

I would be nowhere with my art if I didn't use my scribble coloring. The benefit that the scribbles provide is that I can use super bright colors, but then break them up to avoid too much oversaturation.
His self-portrait is a homage to his blue city scenes of Stockholm. Self-portrait (1901), Tor Hedberg (c1912) & Ernest Thiel (1902). His image of Thiel is startling for its chromatic saturation
@jdebbiel I think I'm pretty good at character design and establishing atmosphere, but I could definitely improve on the balance of my colors/saturation

each new opening I try to progress in a new aspect of my drawings, I decided to try to get a good grasp of coloring through black and white and mix it in some way with what I already know about color theory, although I still feel dissatisfied, apart from feeling an oversaturation
