I was just out of art school, afraid to draw men and backgrounds, I didn't know how to color digitally. I had no confidence in myself.
15 years of hard work, practicing and improving, making mistakes, growing as a an artist. It's not a talent thing. #skillnottalent

Also 2019 vs 2022 for different styles. Even in the last few years I've learned SO MUCH lol. I still have a long way to go especially with perspective and building environments/backgrounds, but I'll get there 🥹

I didn't start my digital art journey until 2019.. Before then- all of my work was traditional ink. I had to teach myself color theory, backgrounds, anatomy, etc. I would lock myself in my office at my normal day job and just watch tutorials all day lol

Rewatched some Oniisama E, and amazed at always by the photography. Almost each shot can be divided into areas of light and darkness, partly thanks to the backgrounds, but mostly to dark/bright filters and lighting on the borders of the screen

she was an old oc of mine back when i was really invested in concept art and backgrounds, i even tried to write some lore about her and her world but eventually gave up drawing background illustrations and forgot about her.. 😭
