#BookIllustrationOfTheDay continues with the #EuropeanIllustrators series. Here's Riera Rojas, a Spanish artist & illustrator - Papageno & Papagena from a book of Mozart's "The Magic Flute" (1970). No author credit. Picasso meets Provensen? Gorgeous either way, very "Musical"!
#BookIllustrationOfTheDay is by Lisbeth Zwerger, continuing my series of #EuropeanIllustrators. Here's an image for "The Swineherd" by HC Anderson (1982). Liquid line, sensitive washes, bold compositions, all held together with exceptional skill. Beautiful, inspirational art.
