This is my opinion, but it would’ve looked tacky if they just painted an actress green. Also the size difference is extreme in the comics. I don’t think it would’ve sufficed just having a woman on the buffer side play her.

It’s moments like these where I regret filling this underdeveloped story as a “hunt/one clan will win” plot.
But.. I think because these moments exist as buffers between the scenes, it makes the “hunt” more effective.

Still trying to find a good way to simplify shapes based on distance, and I think this is a good way to go about it:

Edge detection based on GBuffer normals, but the leaf shader flattens the normals based on distance from the camera 🌿

Drawing comics in advance builds you a buffer, so you can take a break and focus on other things.
It is a precarious game, as the more I lay off drawing , the closer I get to running out of comics to spare, as Trudy will illustrate in the following graphic.
