both are abt engines taking special jobs of taking birdwatchers to see a rare bird, ultimately found on their buffers by the main characters after they feel glum & hopeless

1/ Random advice to genartists using LOTS of repetitions & drawing w/ very low/faint alpha: Use a floating point pixel buffer/canvas to perform your drawing, then only convert to the standard integer pixel buffer once done. This produces MUCH higher quality accumulation/gradients
