Some more various styles of her Chaeyeon during Secret Story of the Swan’s era. The middle one is from a scene during one of their stage performances. The camera swapped to a view behind her and the confetti falling as she danced looked so ethereal and elegant.

Chaeyeon sent a picture in pm of when she was a child. I dunno what made the thought cross my mind but I instantly envisioned a Ghibli film of her going on an adventure with Chaeri & finding magical 🦋. I really wanted to draw this as a comic but I don’t have time.

More of that classic flat style. Bloomiz is an amazing album right? A lot of the tracks revealed more of Chaeyeon’s vocal color, as what comes with full albums. Daydream is my favorite track, I’m sorry Wonyoung. Dreamlike is relaxing, but I really love Daydream.

Another style I began to experiment with. My inspiration came from Disney animations. I liked the style of flag colors with older animations and softer looks. I always used to draw unhappy characters. Ever since I started drawing Chaeyeon, my art has a happier feel.

Vampire eraaaaa. I was inspired to try a new style. I wanted to do a version of Chaeyeon with each member but only had time for Hyewon, Nako and Yena. It’s really hard for me to stick to a plan. Chaeyeon can rock a vampire look and her outfits for the era were 💯 🔥

I loved painting Chaeyeon’s airport looks. She always so fashionable and elegant. The last two were inspired by Kyoani Studio’s style. Some of the most wonderful and beautiful animations came from that studio and I was happy to TRY & portray Chaeyeon in that style.

Chaeyeon was an entertaining mess during IZONE CHU: Secret friends. From terrifying poor Hitomi to being scared herself with Hitomi and Sakura. We also learned on this day Chaeyeon is also a talented pianist. She played Für Elise perfectly.

Purple haired Chaeyeon was with us for less than 4 weeks. We could see it hidden during Eunbi’s birthday vlive and then shortly after the KLine practice room vlive it was blonde!! I wish she got to show it off some more. It looked beautiful on her.

The first drawing I ever did of Lee Chaeyeon would be right after the P48 Finale. A scene that reminded me of my own best friend. We had friendship rings. We joked that we were married because we fought a lot, helped each other and are friends until death.
