‘Titanic' meets 'Silent Hill’ - this really is 2000 AD at its best, a brilliant & evocative one-and-done story about murders on a vast passenger ship that vanished on its maiden voyage and has spent years trapped on a limbo sea

Every so often, a picture book cover captures my imagination like no other. It awakens the kid in me. Here is a fascinating, mysterious and evocative book by the Canadian Fan brothers.

Love the combination of black and white and coloured illustrations.

Haruki Suetsugu and Kazuma Kaneko are prob my biggest! In terms of non-game artists I really love how abstract I’ve and evocative Etienne Jules Marey’s chronophotography is. Edouard Vuillard’s bold colors and simple yet kinda uncanny paintings are something I adore as well

Poetry is a way for people to talk about fossils in evocative ways. Timothy Conrad called a trilobite "large-eyed mummy of the ancient rocks." Not a scientific description, but one that makes the fossils seem ancient and important. Artwork by .
