@prinkidoodles In order
-this one thought me that transparent brushes exist
-Moon Grasp thought me that masking and gradients are super useful!
-The shark thought me a much harder, advanced, and much better process of shading
-The last one thought me that gaussian blur and bloom existed
honestly it depends a lot on the piece butttt:
1- if your redrawing i also recommend redrawing the bg in ur style!!
2- colors that match the vibe that you’re going for or decorations are always good, they add more to ur piece
3- gaussian blur is your friend, use it as you please https://t.co/ocSgABOKz2
色がくすみがちなのでコントラスト補正とセットが良いかも。

セル画でよくみるブラスチック越しで微妙にボケる味わいある効果。ソフトブラー(softened Blurring)って呼ばれるの今更知った。元の画像と合成するだけなのか。

...You know how artists always have a thing that always pops up in their work and they seem overly obsessed with and it's always there as like, an artistic shortcut for them?
Well, mine is glowing created by Gaussian blurs.
Just... so much Gaussian blur. #artistproblems

I wanted the music notation to glow, so there are several layers, each set to lighten, with a gradually lighter fill from dark blue through 100% cyan all the way to white--and then each layer is gaussian blurred less-and-less as it gets lighter. The white layer isn't blurred.
