"The spring mists rise round the isles,
And the cranes cry in a plaintive tone,
Then I think of my far-off home--
Sorely do I grieve...
I shake the war-arrows I carry
Till they rattle in my ears."

Behind the shame saying you could've done things better or sooner, is a younger version of you needing support to grieve what they didn't know, and be invited to rest. Don't hold yourself captive for what no one taught you. @nate_postlethwt

I still have the JP server, of course. But I'll miss going to sleep to Kazunari saying "Want a goodnight kiss? C'mere!"
That doesn't mean I'm going to grieve, though. I already have enough grief to deal with. Instead, I'll say it one more time, with a smile.
Thank you, A3 EN. <3
Sometimes, it feels like all I've done for the past two years is grieve.
But A3 EN was a consistent bright spot. A safe place filled with colorful characters and silly yet heartwarming stories. A place where I could escape to a happier world for a few minutes at a time.

2020 was the year I first got a tablet so my art sharply improved, but it was also a year I was very sorrowful and grieved, being separated from my partner due to covid and in an abusive living situation, but I still like how some of these turned out
Meet our #artistofthemonth for March, Ivan Grieve. He talks to us about growing up in the Bohemian 60s, his unusual methods of self-portraiture and being prepared for the Devon weather when landscape painting: https://t.co/HvMS4sxfLj
After some time to grieve and collect myself, I've given into my restlessness and decided to finish this painting. I'm not done yet, but it's shaping up nicely.
I really need to practice my painting skills either way, and I'm experimenting with some moodier lighting. https://t.co/Fk9tqWhAAn
