I totally forgot to upload the rest of my shy viking boy Brant. This was an assignment I did for Stephen Silver's character design class. I had a lot of fun with the expressions and with trying out a "Secret of Kells" inspired style 🤗.

I really loved the Secret of Kells, so when I heard that the same studio would be making another film, I went out of my way to see it at the local artsy-fartsy theater that plays foreign films. When Bronach reappears and gives a final goodbye to her family, I bawled like a baby.

I love that you folks keep bringing up these three.
Cartoon Saloon are a French/Irish collaboration and each movie makes about $16 at the box office. It’s amazing they exist at all.

Highly recommend the secret of kells and song of the sea!!! They're about Irish mythology. Tom Moore also made another film that I haven't watched called the breadwinner but I've heard many good things about it too
