Hi~ Name's Minty, I went to school for game art + design and hope to one day create comfy games / games with interesting mechanics.

Maaaaan, I want to use all the time for my PKMN info, but I am such a "Graphics Whore" that I love the simplistic and intuitive designs of Bulbapedia. However, Bulbapedia annoys me for 2 reason:
- No Dark Mode
- Massive lore scrolling to get to the in-game mechanics.

Today Nintendo Direct was interesting. I haven’t played Skyward Sword. Unfortunately, I was never a fan of the wii and switch nunchuck mechanics. Now, with the gamepad controls added, I’ll give this one a shot.

Thomas is peak character design he's the best thing I've ever designed. I love how much of a chaotic rat he is. He's the dude you find really weird but too interesting to not talk to. He's a nut. Really affectionate. He bites. Specializes in explosives and mechanics. Eccentric.

I miss megas and z moves. They were my favorite two mechanics. I dont like dynamax at all...

I remember having this mono psychic team that was soo good. Megas and Zmoves allowed for so many strange combinations that could work.

But dyna doesnt allow for that, imo. 🥲

KOF XV looks better than XIV, yay? Waiting to see mechanics. Stop recycling and reintroducing max mode. It's now boring and annoying, imo. Hopefully XV shakes it up like XI. Shifts, cancels, and that time up system was god like. Also, find a way to bring back Shion, please thx

Honestly I think Origami King did a great job with the Appliance Bosses despite a dumb concept, with the personalities and mechanics. But I wanted to try and design them as actual characters in Paper Mario keeping the same reference.

Another new PC! This time we get Scottiann Newbridge, a rock gnome battle smith (she/her). She's on the spectrum, and her special interest is mechanics. One of her favorite things is to trade infodumps with her companions.

While just being a demo, Starstruck Prologue left a big impression on me with its bizarre claymation world, its absurd story and its mix between an adventure and a rhythm game. The rhythm portion has a strikingly good UI/UX and some slightly original mechanics.
