AA HE'S MIRRORING VENTI'S POSE FROM BEFORE... imagine if, this time, venti's the one standing unnoticed from a distance, yearning for him 😭😭
Mirroring of Ugetsu, Mafuyu, Haruki.
These people fall in love and they are on guard.
Mafu could go Uge way, but he'll end up going Haru way.
Mirroring of Yuki, Akihiko, Ritsuka.
They fall in love and they are desperate.
Aki could go Yuki way, but he'll end up going Ue way.
I spent like an hour trying to get weightpaint mirroring to work. It does now, but I still have no idea what I did to make it happen
mirroring each other's pose which means they ~liiiiiiiike~ each otherrrrrr 😳😳😳😳
@JFM_Studios Ah, the mirroring-the-drawing trick. I know this one. I even used it in my eight-point turnarounds of Gilda.
@VermillionWorks It's actually coincidence that both shots involve the same people, but the girl on the right (both times) is my gal Ophelia in her extremes. (And then Scout Boy on the left, apparently mirroring her mood)
"Help me, help me. Please," I beg of every face, mirroring my morbid expression. Nobody is coming to save me.
Commission I did recently! His and his gf's FFXIV characters in a mirroring of the Sett splash art from LoL

Mai-Thu Perret on Evelyne Axell: “In her hands, formal strategies like mirroring, transparency, and silhouetting reach a pitch-perfect sensuality.”

Watching the Miroku OVA. This is some good rough and rushed Ishikawa schlock. A good mix of limited animation techniques mirroring dynamic pro's manga abstraction and modest bursts of fluid body horror. With some interesting KAs coming up in later episodes, like Shinji Hashimoto!
I really like that Dark Star and Cosmic Varus' splash have slightly mirroring compositions
@BIazingWaters @shadows_unborn A lot of artists get away with it because, well, they're subtle about it, just tracing over small parts or drawing peices slightly different, or hell sometimes just mirroring the final drawing
But when it's caught it's.. kinda obvious
