Everything being much more accessible now makes it a smoother journey through art and it's wonderful to see. When I see 13-16 year olds with amazing art I don't feel like i suck, I feel proud! Happy that art is now more accessible for everyone and all that jazz.

@sleepless1219 the shading looks a bit solid in my opinion.
One way is use to avoid this problem is by using multiple colors for shading so it looks a bit smoother :))).
Both examples are set to 16% Gaussian blur

This is also why I keep saying "Don't forget to draw ely's black hair", because the layering in his hairstyle is so cute. It's a charm point!! I'm just so happy it persisted in the new sprite despite the smoother hairstyle.

⬇️ I would try a semi-opaque brush with the eye dropper tool.😊 I make “steps” to reach color A to B - varying your pen pressure can help with this too. For smoother blending, I use a mixing or smudge brush with my main brush. Hope this helps!😚
