Here's my take on Ahadi and Uru, Scar and Mufasa's parents.
I tried to make Ahadi one of those black and gold maned lions, and made Uru's body type more like Scar's
Today I had to lecture my kitten Nito about why we don't go in the microwave and I felt like Mufasa teaching Simba about the elephant graveyard.
As a result you have amazing emotional moments in animation. Mufasa's death. When Miguel sings "Remember Me" to Grandma Coco. Fuck even Gogeta firing off a Kamehameha. None of these moments would hit as hard if they didn't have these amazing expressions.
