My scanner is working! Yaaaay, i dont need to depend on this awful cellphone camera anymore.

So, i gave it a "small" treatment on PS, and tried to make it workable. Honestly, i'm not that fond of the result but i guess this is par for the course of getting used to the media.

a lot of old digitalized traditional art in general looks bad, likely just limitations of old scanner, cameras or monitor models.
If you look at other examples like old pokespe scans vs more recent scans of the same artwork the difference is wild

TIME FOR SCANNER EXPERIMENTS! First image is with what I would consider a rookie attempt at balancing saturation/levels on my chibi Robin and Sanson painting. Second is a photo of the image that I originally posted.

The scanner is removing some of the paper texture.
